Install the Unity Hub on Linux • Unity Hub • Unity Docs
发布时间:2026-10-04 | 浏览:1
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Fedora. These distributions are not officially supported and Unity makes no guarantee that the Hub works on them.
Install the Hub
Run the following command to add the public signing key: sudo install -d /etc/apt/keyrings curl -fsSL https://hub.unity3d.com/linux/keys/public | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /etc/apt/keyrings/unityhub.gpg
Run the following command to add the Unity Hub repository. This creates an entry in /etc/apt/sources.list.d : sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub.sources > /dev/null << EOF Types: deb URIs: https://hub.unity3d.com/linux/repos/deb Suites: stable Components: main Signed-By: /etc/apt/keyrings/unityhub.gpg EOF
Update the package cache and install the package: sudo apt update sudo apt install unityhub
The directory /etc/apt/keyrings exists.
The user or group installing the Hub has write permissions to the /etc/apt/keyrings directory.
The user or group installing Hub has at least read permissions to the resulting file /etc/apt/keyrings/unityhub.gpg .
Add the Unity Hub repository: sudo sh -c 'echo -e "[unityhub]\nname=Unity Hub\nbaseurl=https://hub.unity3d.com/linux/repos/rpm/stable\nenabled=1\ngpgcheck=1\ngpgkey=https://hub.unity3d.com/linux/repos/rpm/stable/repodata/repomd.xml.key\nrepo_gpgcheck=1" > /etc/yum.repos.d/unityhub.repo'
Update the package cache and install the package: sudo dnf check-update sudo dnf install unityhub The first time you install or update from the repository the Hub prompts to accept the Unity Technologies signing key.
Download UnityHubSetup-x86_64.AppImage .
Make the file executable, then run it: chmod +x UnityHubSetup-x86_64.AppImage ./UnityHubSetup-x86_64.AppImage
Install a beta version of the Hub
Add the public signing key, if you haven't already: sudo install -d /etc/apt/keyrings curl -fsSL https://hub.unity3d.com/linux/keys/public | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /etc/apt/keyrings/unityhub.gpg
Add a beta repository entry to /etc/apt/sources.list.d : sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub-beta.sources > /dev/null << EOF Types: deb URIs: https://hub.unity3d.com/linux/repos/deb Suites: unstable Components: main Signed-By: /etc/apt/keyrings/unityhub.gpg EOF
Update the package cache and install the package: sudo apt update sudo apt install unityhub=<version> Where <version> follows the format of 3.22.0~beta.1 (note the ~ , not a hyphen; Debian package versions sort a pre-release with a tilde, and apt install unityhub=<version> only matches the exact version string). Run apt-cache policy unityhub to see the exact version string of the candidate beta.
Add the beta repository: sudo sh -c 'echo -e "[unityhub-beta]\nname=Unity Hub Beta\nbaseurl=https://hub.unity3d.com/linux/repos/rpm/unstable\nenabled=1\ngpgcheck=1\ngpgkey=https://hub.unity3d.com/linux/repos/rpm/unstable/repodata/repomd.xml.key\nrepo_gpgcheck=1" > /etc/yum.repos.d/unityhub_beta.repo'
Query and install a specific beta version: sudo dnf check-update sudo dnf list unityhub sudo dnf install unityhub-<version info>

Why do I only see the beta version of Hub when I try to install with `apt install unityhub`?
Disable the beta repository. If you set the beta repository up before Unity Hub's docs moved to the DEB822 .sources format, the file is named unityhub-beta.list instead. The following command disables whichever one exists: if [ -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub-beta.sources ]; then sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub-beta.sources /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub-beta.sources.bak fi if [ -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub-beta.list ]; then sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub-beta.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub-beta.list.bak fi sudo apt update sudo apt install unityhub
Query the specific version of the Hub. sudo apt install unityhub=3.x.x
Disable the beta repository. sudo mv /etc/yum.repos.d/unityhub_beta.repo /etc/yum.repos.d/unityhub_beta.repo.bak sudo dnf check-update sudo dnf install unityhub
Query the specific version of the Hub. sudo dnf list unityhub sudo dnf install unityhub-<version info>
When I install the Debian package, I receive the following error message: `/etc/apt/sources.list.d/unityhub.sources: No such file or directory`.
When I remove, add, or update the Unity Hub in the command line, I receive an error message that states that the lockfile is in use.
I downloaded the AppImage and running it fails with an error about `fusermount` or `FUSE`.
Install your distribution's fuse3 package (the package is named fuse3 on Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL, and Fedora), then run the AppImage normally.
Run the AppImage with the --appimage-extract-and-run flag, which extracts and runs it without mounting: ./UnityHubSetup-x86_64.AppImage --appimage-extract-and-run
